Goddess

Goddess

A perfect Pout on your mouth
Lank tresses sway across your shoulders
The way you read me
seem to know what I'm about,
I walk quietly around you
Speak carefully struck dumb
by Astoundment.You have no clue

How beautiful in existing you are
So bright understatedly right-minded

For all your Street sass and you cheeky smile
There is a sweetness a simplicity almost innocently
hidden.
These feelings
what you have me wish for is Forbidden
I cant help but want to touch you.
You're like water to me.
A Dream-inducing Elixar gilded
in a substance more precious than gold
Here now I lay my soul.
In the depths of Our Electronic world

For you S.R, you beautiful talented amazing girl.

Just a thought...

real Problem is i suppose:
I probably don't have as many problems as i imagine I have.
Problem is what supposedly few problems I have I cant really share with anyone.Which of course means every mountain I face scaleable or not seems impossible and i often don't reach the other side, and make it into the Valley of light and Perfect Hindsight, - no instead i stay on my little ole Plain of Desolation.

What is it about some men that just because 1)you're the one teen who doesn't glare at them when they look or talk to you 2) you dress Flash
They instantly think you must be diggin for it and slip Paddy Power betting reciepts into your hand/pocket in a way that they think is sexy and mysteroius but lly is just creepy.
Benny 0867892531 pranksters welcome...

well thats it for today had more, but the stupid outdated Libary computers ( i mean XP for goodness sake!) cant open .wps files. and thus all my weekend entries will have to be posted Mid-week. Fabulous

[Insert Title]

Subcultures for the most part are a reaction to whatever counts as the "normal" culture which is probably why they're only sub-cultures and not seperate cultures altogether, i mean your average friendly goth is just as much a part of Anglo-American culture as your not-so-friendly Jock and his uber-friendly cheerleader girlfriend.
I'm using stereotypes here because it makes things easier. Anyways if there was no North how would we find South? Would there just be a South and no North? Or perhaps South is just a shadow of North the same way in which life is just a shadow of death, perhaps neither can exist without the other. I certainly think so, I mean how many unipolar magnets do you meet a day?
mind you you meet a lot of unipolar people nowadays and they certainly exist, but then again the faact that they exist means that somewhere out there, something else doesn't. Light and shadow you know, the light begat the darkness and the darkness sustains the light. I mean if there was no darkness how would we ever know it was light? with what would we compare it with, (keeping in mind that Darkness is simply an abscence of light so we couldn't classify the various shades of light without Darkness existing because well without Darkness they wouldn't exist would they... i mean the word Shade itself means:
shade n. Light diminished in intensity as a result of the interception of the rays; partial darkness.
See, Partial Darkness...) Light just wouldn't be light anymore. It would be a monotoned something without name....hmm I'm getting the vague feeling that I've taken this particular metaphor too far.
Now where was I? Nope think thats it.If anyone actually reads this I'd really appreciate your feedback...hell, feel free to blatantly disagree, whatever jus leav a message

Sandra and The end of a really long year part 1

Well, this is it dudes. I've finally left school.

Graduation is tomorrow and although I can't say I'll miss this place (my school), it was an interesting time for me.Nothing like losing your sense of value and identity to really affirm your beliefs. No I won't get into that, not today.Today i want to tell you about Sandra who next to my most awesome friend Tatske, is one of the coolest girls who has ever lived.

The day i met Sandra i wasn't particularly taken with her, she glanced up briefly from her desk when i entered 1st period history, groggy eyed with limp moussy hair and i remember thinking that she looked a little like a goose.

I sat behind her that particular lesson and got to know her I suppose, we chatted easily enough , conversing quietly in German on the back of my history copy. She wrote very well, technically speaking. Her handwriting was slanted and elegant. We talked...or rather wrote about German about favorite authors ( I think hers was Alan Moore at the time.)

We then entered that phase of being amiable but not quite friends , which I ruined quite successfully by well, developing a slight obsession with her...though she probably just thought I was weird...which admittedly I am.

She stayed nice to me albeit from a reasonable distance.

She even invited me to this Artisans Group she goes to. All the people there were amazingly cool. There was Paul Hans- a large friendly and shy German guy, Avofie K.-perhaps mid late middle age, Lance-feminist and poet (but no not a lesbian), Sandra of course, Riley-her close friend and artsy kid in general...uber cool as well,Malachy- who was probably the wiseguy in his school days, and Oisín Ashcroft-who embodies all those things good about older men, sophistication an unhurried nature, and well probably that other thing as well but seeing as I don't know hm that well I won't go into that, anyways an altogether respectable man.

Artisan was cool, sort of like a writers group and occasionally sort of like a impromptu Jazz session. Different people would drop in from time to time and every once in a while we'd have these Gatherings with other Art-related groups. there'd be Music,Poetry reading, and readings of other kinds, and also more experimental stuff . One time someone even brought a ukulele.

more next time

21-2-09 : The Fifteenth of February

I met Neil Gaimen. Oh my gosh how awesome! The writer of the Sandman comic book series, Coraline, Stardust, and Mirrormask, and I met him. How very cool for me. All I had to do was take the train down to the Capital where I would later take a trip by Laus with most awesome friend Tatske to ****** shopping centre’s cinema and...

I’ll spare you the details of how we got into a sold out screening of a certain movie but dudes...I met Neil Gaimen!! I just met him, I mean the chances of actually meeting him let alone getting a picture taken with him were kinda slim that night,
as the JDIFF interviewer pointed out , usually the ‘talent’ introduces the piece/film/etc then leaves but no, not Neil Gaimen, he actually stayed and watched the whole of Coraline then gave a little talk at the end...can you imagine, for the 15 short minutes and for the duration of the talk afterwards that I was in there, I was sharing a room with one of the most talented authors known to manki- okay known to me- but point is, I saw him, he was there.

That’s not all though, afterwards as he, Amanda Palmer, and Neil Jordan (hee-hee name-dropping) were being rushed out of the screen room me and my friend Tatske kinda ran after him and asked for a photo (well actually Tatske asked, I was a bit tongue tied all I managed to say was ‘Neil-, before he looked at me and my mouth just sorta froze) and he said “Alright just a quick one though, I’m really in a hurry,” and there it is, the picture we took.

Yeah I know really blurry an stuff, a bad angle too, and in hindsight I should have jumped in beside him seeing as Tatske was taking the picture, but I think I was just a little bit too starstruck to actually move. I mean Neil Gaimen-in the flesh- he even gave both of us hug! So I might be banned for life from a certain shopping centre’s cinema should they ever check their CCTV, but I met Neil Gaimen! For real!
He is actually quite down to earth for a guy whose living is to make up things.

Not to mention funny, sound...i.e. not a total sleazebag, interesting and quite pleasant really. Lame adjectives to describe a creative genius I know but I kinda screamed out all the words for Ode to Neil Gaimen on the streets of ****** and Sally Grove estate and cant quite remember them now.

I was totally in Awe.
I feel kind of silly now for scoffing at a girl in my history class who said she had received an email from Neil Gaimen, as my encounters with him in the Capital show, meeting with Neil Gaimen does not require the sacrifice of 10 young virgins or anything like that. Only a pair of feet, plenty of spare change, and an in depth knowledge of Neil Gaimens’ whereabouts.

Du bist ein Idoit Vincent

When I woke up this morning my first thought was 'ahhh' , a contented ahhh you understand not one of pain or fear.
You see this morning i had no classes. Bieng in my last year of high school I have, at the end of the year, a very important test.To help students prepare for these tests, or maybe just to give them a kick up the arse that will get them studying, mock versions of this very important tests are held several months in advance. And so it is that i have no exams today until 13:10 which suits me just fine.
Of course being the geek I am i didn't reaally feel completely at ease with this break in habit. To calm myself down i decided to sort through my schoolbooks and guess what?

im such an idiot i went in because I had to return a book to one of my teachers so in I went and guess what? she wasn't in but two teachers including the vice-principal saw me which really ment according to my schools ridikulus rules, I would have to stay in the school and study there - but I cant do that. near exam time the panic that place instills in me is unglaublich( unbelievable)! So further idiot i was after runnig across the whole school, I dashed back to my locker to my stuff and went.

All the way back home i was kicking myself for my foolishness but then, just as my inner sadist was getting into a frenzy, i realised ; that its better these type of things to happen whilst your still young and foolish than when you're older and meant to know better.
i may get in trouble for today even though technically i had no reason to be in school and so by leaving again i wasn't ''playing hooky'' or ''mitching'' as they say here.
Still shit happens right?

yours in all nerdiness,
Vincent
